My Reflections
The process of revision is a critical component to the artistic process.   Your commentary concerning the revision process shows your ability to reflect upon the characteristics and assess the merits of one’s personal artwork and the creative process.

Please describe a project that you revised during the creation of a piece of artwork.  Describe how you revised and changed your work.  Discuss how your revisions affected the final product.

One project that I revised was my box. The lid would not fit correctly so i redid it. The second time it still did not work. I realized that the clay i was using was too moist. So the third time, I constructed my lid then set it out to dry in front of the fan.

Select a completed project.  If you were to re-do this project, what would you do differently.

One completed project I would do differently is my vase. The second layer of my vase is carved the coils instead of rolling them. Also, I did not take enough time to glaze my vase. I should have gotten a late grade instead because I did not put enough layers of glaze onto it.

Learning Goal:  To reflect upon and evaluate your own artwork.

During my teapot, I had to keep restarting the body of it because it ended up being too small. I didn’t pinch the clay enough and I didn’t have enough clay.

If I had to redo a project I would redo my pumpkin because it was very small and I didn’t like the design overall. I could’ve subtracted the rigges instead of  adding them.
